Terms of sale and use

These terms cover buying and using Switchover, sold by BML Web Design. By buying or using Switchover you agree to them.

What you're buying

A license to use Switchover: the Mac app, the browser edition, the switching guides and the included data. You're buying the right to use it, not the software itself.

What you can't do

Updates

Your purchase includes updates for one year. After that, the version you have keeps working.

Other companies' software

Switchover works alongside DAWs made by other companies and is not affiliated with any of them. You need your own licenses for those DAWs. Key commands are the makers' published defaults for the versions named on the site; makers change them, and we update Switchover when they do, but we can't promise every future version matches. The Pro Tools automations use Avid's scripting and need Pro Tools running on the same Mac.

Your files

The automations only run when you start them, and they write new files and folders instead of overwriting your originals. Even so, back up your sessions before running any automation.

No warranty

Switchover is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We'll fix real problems when you tell us about them.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything to do with Switchover is limited to what you paid for it.

Refunds

See the refund policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in place when you bought apply to that purchase.
